Crating for export

Crated this meter to go to Singapore...

It takes us longer to crate it than it does to haul from Iowa to Houston.

Hey Holmes

We hauled this from Iowa to Nebraska this week. Its a 1958 Kenworth with a Holmes 750 wrecker. Restored and put to work in 1969. Stayed with the same owner from then till now. He passed on and his family had to let it go. We were told that it had been kept in the shop every night...unless it was on a call.

it shows...

check out the top speed !

Look close...there is a gear on the hub...

That is the speedometer gear. No front brakes so what the hell...all kinds of room for the speedo gear!!

Around the shop today

This one hit a deer, so while the hood is in the body shop we rebuilt the front suspension.
New Springs + New Shackles + New Shocks + Laser Alignment = Better fuel economy and added life to tires!! Belts, shocks, and tires...
The best way to pass a DOT inspection is to beat them to the punch...

Our trucks and trailers get a complete DOT inspecion every time they come in our shop. If we dont find anything wrong with our equipment...we look some more.
